I teach Fifth Grade math and science. The design process using Tinkercad acts as an enrichment activity for some students and a supplementary learning experience for many of my learners that do not do well with paper and pencils. By setting up a station in my classroom where 3D printing can take place, students will be reminded and encouraged on a daily basis of their potential to design ad create new things. Through the design process I am able to guide many students towards mastery of math standards they otherwise do not achieve. Your generosity makes the world a little brighter. By inspiring children to create and giving them the tools to bring their designs to life we show a future generation that we are there to support their sense of wonder and creativity.
