PreK students love to emulate what they see their parents doing at home. These are common experiences for every child. We have a dollhouse with no furniture and all the students love to play there, but they wish they had furniture. In dramatic play, I have found in my previous teaching experiences that PreK students LOVE to clean up and a broom and mop were always put to good use. Both the dollhouse and dramatic play centers facilitate children working together as a team to solve real life problems as they grow their socialization skills.
