These books will assist them every day by helping them learn about their emotions and diversity. These books will also give my students a chance to see characters that look like them in the story, which will make the stories more relatable to them. My students love to learn about new things especially about emotions, how being different makes you special, and just learning in general. These books will be helpful as a conversation piece for the students to discuss skills and knowledge that will be helpful for them to engage with the people around them.
