The students I work with have strong social-emotional needs. This can look like students who struggle with emotional regulation, cooperative skills, growth mindset, play skills, and a variety of other social-emotional skills that support their peer relationships. To apply the skills that I have taught, I currently on have 1 game for students to play (Uno), but I'd love to see them apply their skills with a variety of students playing a variety of games. I can teach them about how to take turns, play kindly, and regulate their emotions (like when the lose/win a game) all day long, but putting those skills into practice in a variety of settings is what will support students carrying these skills into their daily life. These games will support making students more successful in peer relationships.
