In the special education classroom, many of my students struggle with sensory processing or paying attention. They have spent the last year at home learning virtually. Now we are back in person and they are having a hard time with the transition. My student face many challenges head on and providing these tools will help them focus and give them what they need to be successful in the school setting. Some of my students get over stimulated in their general education class and need a safe space in my classroom to be themselves and to reset in order to return to and be successful in the classroom. Other students of mine are sensory seekers and need to be able to move around and be physically engaged. Whether they need to be stimulated or calmed down, these tools will help them thrive!
