The Magna-Tiles will be introduced to the students during our building study. We use this study to learn about architecture, blueprints, and planning for different types of buildings. The building study gives the children extended vocabulary, fine motor, and large motor development skills. The Magna-Tiles will extend their understanding of the building process as well as scientific knowledge. During the building study we will use the tiles to build in our block center. After the study comes to an end, the tiles will be placed in both blocks and discovery for further exploration.
