My goal is to make learning fun! One way I do that is to allow students to get comfortable while doing their independent work. My students love getting a chance to take their learning into their own hands. Even those who choose to stay in their desks, it is still THEIR choice and I believe that makes a huge difference in their quality of work and boosts independence. The items in this project will give my students multiple options as to how they can work comfortably and effectively. Even adults don't want to sit in a chair all day! It gets uncomfortable and harder to focus by the middle to end of the day. This is not a conducive learning environment for kiddos to do their best work. I truly feel the students learn better when they feel they have more control over their environment, it helps them to feel safe and comfortable.
