Ukuleles have become a more prominent instrument both in pop music and in general music classrooms. I would love the opportunity to make more modern connections in music class by bringing in these instruments. Furthermore, when students can learn a stringed instrument that they can play solo, it can be used as an emotional tool and hobby throughout their lives rather than turning to other less lucrative hobbies. I think every child deserves to learn the skills of playing an instrument and reading music so they may choose to carry this skill into adulthood. I would be so humbled if my students could receive these ukuleles. Thank you so much!
