We want to make a makers lab, I would love to have a wall where the kids can create their own Rube Goldberg Machine. They can work together to make one or as different classes come in they can change what was there. This will help them understand the basic simple machine. They can use this wall to practice making different simple machines. From creating ramps and pulley systems to trial and error of gravity and physics; the kids will be able to demonstrate their learning using a hands-on lesson. The wall will build teamwork and create a community with other students. They will have to work together to create a working Goldberg machine. The outcome of this wall will help students for years to come. This will also help them decided what they want to do with their future. Kids how love problem solving and building simple machines will learn that they can go into engineering.
