In order to be able to provide the best educational experiences and practices to my students, I strive to provide ample opportunities and access to a variety of lifetime activities. These activities will equip my students with the skills and knowledge necessary to be physically literate for life. There are several disc golf courses around our schools community that many of my students are unaware of or understand how to access them. I hope to be able to educate my students on this recreational and fitness-based sport as well as how accessible this fun sport is. By donating to our project, you will not only help to increase my students learning experiences but also help to create and build a community of physically literate personnel. Having the ability to implement a disc golf unit into my schools curriculum enables students to experience physical activities that are outdoors and the skills to set them up to be health and physically fit individuals for a lifetime. This opportunity will help me to ensure my students are confident and competent in their knowledge and skill sets.
