The materials that I have requested will help to make learning more engaging for my 1st grade students. Because of COVID, this year has been especially difficult for my students to fully enjoy Reading and Math. 1st grade is such an important year of learning for all students. We have had to socially distance and have not been able to share manipulatives. By incorporating more hands on manipulatives, my students will be more engaged and motivated to learn. They will each have their own set of books and math supplies to help them be invested in learning new skills and topics.
