Our incredible students are motivated and determined to brainstorm some fascinating and challenging science fair projects that will be entered into the next LA County Science and Engineering Fair. Students will utilize the scientific method throughout their research, which will result in an increased understanding of procedural steps in the science classroom. Additionally, students will develop a relevant way to represent their data including the use of graphs, tables, and charts. They will look up equations, calculate statistics, and analyze their results. Students will use academic language and prepare professional-level scientific poster presentations to demonstrate and explain their findings that will also be captured in a research paper. Sounds like a lot of work right? It is! The one thing we don't want students to worry about is obtaining some of the incredibly valuable materials that they will need to help them achieve success in this very competitive science fair environment. If we work together, we can help them focus their brainpower on the most important element, SCIENCE !!
