The following materials will be well-loved and used by our sweet kiddos: Our little absolutely love to hands-on learn!! 1. Number locks: Our students will engage in learning core numbers 1-20 with these fun and interactive keys and locks! Not only will they be building their math skills, but they will also develop their fine motor skills using the keys! This is a cross-cutting activity that will provide our littles with the opportunity to develop several skills simultaneously. 2. Sight word puzzles: We have many students working on building their reading skills. We focus heavily on sight word recognition and proper letter formation. We obviously want them to be able to interact with their world for which reading is key! Any way that we can encourage hands-on and relevant learning we integrate into our classroom! These puzzles will allow our students to access society and their environment effectively. 3. Word matching: In addition to sight words, we work on sounding out words to decode what they say. Reading is such a vital skill for our kiddos to learn so that they can access their world! These matching activities will allow our kids to develop the crucial skill of reading.
