We focus on one letter each week, our letter of the week. These tubs would be a great resource for the children! It is helpful for the children to have a visual to go with a letter and a word. We can also use items to teach letter sounds. These are important skills for kindergarten readiness. If our project gets chosen we will make word cards to go along with the items each week. We will put the tubs and word cards in our writing center for the children to use. Teachers will also use the tubs at morning meeting to introduce the letter of the week.
