I am currently in the early stages of building a communications and broadcast journalism program at my school. I have shifted into this new role from a social studies teacher largely because of the passion I've found for creating and helping my students create. Having the right equipment can make the difference between students seeing their projects as school assignments and viewing themselves as true creators. These iPads would be a start to a new classroom set so my students could learn to create professional grade Adobe programs--both at school and at home. The Sony Camera will allow our projects to be captured in incredibly high quality. We have been producing projects for our school and community as a whole this year, and having a camera of this quality would allow my students to create at a whole new level.
