Thank you for your potential interest in funding my goal. It's been my wish to start up a high-school robotics and STEM program for many years. I recently moved schools to a charter school and have support from administration to start such a program. Next year I have the opportunity to teach eleven students one semester of robotics / Computer Science / STEM. I'm planning on using a variety of curriculum to develop interest and build the program, but my primary recruiting tool will be the robotics portion of the class. My goal is to have enough kits to send all 11 students to the high school regional VEX V5 robotics competition. This would come out to 3 or 4 kits in total, plus competition and license fees, which is a hefty sum. I'm asking you to help fund ONE of those kits. With your help, I plan on building an exciting, hands-on STEM experience for all the high-school students who will attend our charter school for years to come.
