The gift cards from Teachers Pay Teachers will be used for supplies in our social skills classroom. More books, games, kits, and everything in between on how we can respect, love, and help everyone around us regardless of what they look like, where they live, or who they know. Teaching children at an early age how to be a hero to people in need and standing up for those who may be too scared to stand up for themselves. Teaching social skills will prepare our students for the future. As Mr. Rogers once said, "Look for the helpers." I want to teach our students to be the helpers.
