RF.1.3 Know and apply grade-level phonics and word analysis skills in decoding words. The sight words used in the Non-fiction Sight-Word Readers and Word Family Readers help students read with sufficient accuracy and fluency to support comprehension. Decodable text allows the child to use and develop correct print to sound phonologic processing pathways build necessary skills! Decodable texts are carefully sequenced to progressively incorporate words that are consistent with the letter–sound relationships that have been taught to the new reader. The students enjoy these colorful and relatable books at their level!
