Hands-on learning is great for active 5-6 year olds in a STEM centered school. Manipulatives are a great way to engage young minds. I am new to teaching K-3. I taught two years of high school and realized that my gifts were a better fit with younger students. A vibrant learning space with a variety of centers is needed to create an inviting space for young learners. I need a variety of items to organize a new learning environment. I took over a classroom at the end of January. I want to build the best environment that I can for my new students.
