While I am working with students individually or in small group, students are engaged in centers focused around different learning standards. In addition to meeting the general 2nd grade curriculum standards, but I also have to meet their individualized gifted education goals. STEAM centers are great for meeting all their general and gifted needs! By giving students the opportunity to construct, codes, and create, I am giving my students the opportunity to apply the knowledge they already have and discover new knowledge naturally while helping them to find their passions.
