Our public school district has not provided curriculum for language teachers in the past eleven(+) years. My students have textbooks and CDs from 2003 (Ven Conmigo, 1st edition) which are increasingly irrelevant to their lives. To make content interesting and meaningful for my students, I have been gathering my own curriculum to meet the ACTFL/TN Modern Language standards and focusing on Comprehensible Input/Total Physical Response with Storytelling methods of instruction. I am requesting gift cards for Teachers Pay Teachers to purchase Spanish curriculum for Levels 1, 2, and 3.
