A class set of headphones will benefit us greatly by allowing us to have differentiated lessons and assessments simultaneously without causing confusion or distractions to other learners. Higher learners will be able to listen in to a more challenging version of the lessons that I create while average learners can tap into a lesson that is more straightforward. My learners that struggle most can have a more tailored lesson to their specific needs and access to the microphone when using software such as Co-Writer. Having the ability to effectively differentiate in this way will be such an asset to my learners and will reach them where they are!
