The project I am asking for help with will supply my class with flexible seating. This project will help my kids tremendously. I currently have 16 kids in my class, but on a normal year without Covid-19, I would have anywhere between 18 and 20. However, I did not ask for that many pieces of flexible seating. The flexible seating I asked for will be used in a specific way. There will be between 2 and 3 flexible seats at each table along with 1 to 2 normal chairs depending on how many students are sitting at that table. Each week we will rotate the sheets. This will help my kids learn about sharing and also help them learn "left" and "right." We would rotate to the left each week. Flexible seating is proven to help students improve in their school work. It is a way for them to be constantly moving; it is perfect for kindergarten because I have a lot of students who are not used to sitting in a chair for 8 hours doing school work. Flexible seating allows students to move throughout the day while completing their school work. The wobble stools allow them to rock back and forth; the bounce balls allow them to bounce up and down; the cushion chair would be used with the lap desk. The student of the week would use that chair and desk for an entire week.
