My project is all about my students literally grabbing ahold of their learning. The math manipulatives will help those who need accommodations with number sense. The different tools for place value, fractions, and numeracy will give them practice. The magic in learning happens in small group instruction. The magnetic graph and lined paper will allow me to model certain math skills that my students are having a hard time comprehending. This school year, many of my students are below grade level. So closing those educational gaps is a top priority. This project will help me do that for them. They will also have some control in their education by being able to put their hands on the resources and learn anywhere!
