My students are reaching for the stars and wanting to drum up success in our music classroom! My students range in age from 4 to 7 years old. At this age, students are focusing on maintaing steady rhythm and learning about rhythm itself. Unfortunately, this is not necessarily an easy feat in my classroom. At this time, students have access to 15 bucket drums (home depot buckets we flip over and drum on) and 8 real drums (such as a djembe, congo, and tubano drum). I would love to have a full class set of real drums (even though they are small) to let students learn appropriate drum and instrument protocols in general. Please consider funding my project and thank you for your time!!
