The rocking chair would be used to help our non-verbal students soothe themselves with the rocking motion the chair provides. The chair is vital to a calm and productive classroom because it allows our other students a more peaceful class to learn in. We have many educational levels in our room and we try to accommodate each and every one. It is importantant to use the chair as a tool as we work with their physical therapist as well and this is something that she also implements when they are in session with her as well.

About my class
