Students' needs are varied. Some of mine focus better when bouncing on a balance ball or sitting on the floor, rather than seated in a standard chair. These flexible seating options will help my students feel more accommodated, seen, and focused in my classroom. My students each deserve an equitable chance at success, and this starts with their ability to focus. Each table will have different seating options to fit the diverse needs of my students. Each of these options will be chosen daily by my students to help fit their needs for that particular day and lesson.
