With an iPad Air and an Apple Pencil I will be able to edit and manipulate Google Slides and other apps that I use teaching to help students grasp concepts easier. Drawing on the whiteboard just isn't as effective as drawing on still images that I can pull from google or even just the transition time from dragging and dropping an item and then writing next to it. With both of these items I will also be able to assist my distance learners who are struggling to learn. Online assignments can only be done so well through teacher led videos and google meets. These devices will help me record and manipulate projected lessons through screen recording. This will be a great option for students that want to go back and view my lesson, as I can easily upload it to YouTube for them as well as for students that may have missed class that day.
