When I set out to find interesting and engaging lessons for my science class, I am starting to pull up more and more resources that use virtual reality technology. We have numerous units throughout the year that could have benefitted from this technology. We have had very limited access to computers this year (in-person) and I think the curriculum was duller this year due to this, and the fact that in-person labs were not permitted. A few units we covered this year I know the VR headsets could benefit our class would be our studies of the universe and of ecosystems on Earth. There are numerous, free, resources for teachers and students in which they use their smart phone, along with the VR headset, to explore these units.
