My students will be learning about the life cycle of monarch butterflies through nonfiction books, videos and recording daily observations of the changes of live monarch caterpillars. By donating to our project, you will help my first graders to have access to a digital microscope so we can project live specimens on our white board. This will allow all learners in our class to see the same things at the same time. So they will be able to be more engaged in the process of learning to think and make observations like scientists which will ultimately increase their engagement, motivation, and enthusiasm for learning and science.
