The students at our High School will use these items to assist with preparing for life in college at their choice school. They will have a piece of high school to take with them as they journey into another season of their lives in new states and towns. Many of the items received will be the first item students will have for their future dorm and it will teach them to be responsible with their belongings as they will not be starting college until the Fall. These materials will reduce the number of items students will need to purchase for their dorms as many of them are first-generation college students. Students who will be attending a community college can use the materials for their own room or use the classroom materials.
