My students will benefit from actual hands-on experiences rather than just watching a video or completing a worksheet. They work so well in small groups and I would love to delegate each group to conduct their own project and then they can share whole-group. My students will get to experience actual science in action and will see that they can make science out of every day items. In addition, students will be able to create their own "science at home," pack and conduct experiments at home. My students do not get much quality time with their family so this will certainly help them do something as a family.
