As you all know, our students have all been learning from home for the 2020-2021 school year. In less than a week, we will be able to finally get back into our classroom. We want to be as safe as possible. We had learned that there would be anywhere from 13-16 students allowed back in the classroom. Imagine my shock when I found out that I had more than 16 students eager to come back to school and learn from yours truly. It wasn't until recently that I found out that I would be having 21 students in my classroom 4 days a week (and even have a waiting list of students who would like to come back to school). I would like to see the air purifier to keep the air in our classroom as safe as possible, especially since there will be so many people in our classroom. My classroom is a portable, and like many portables, there isn't much space. I am asking for your help to help me keep myself, and my students as safe as possible. I know many students will have masks on when they enter school, BUT let's face it kids are going to be sneezing and coughing from time to time and I would hate for them to have a mask full of boogers, or saliva. Sanitizer is available in all classrooms, BUT not all classrooms are going to have 22 bodies in them. The Lysol wipes and sanitizer will help to disinfect materials in our classroom and I will be using the sheet protectors for students to make resource folders for writing and math. These folders will be made for all students in person and distance learning.
