For many of these student, this elementary Orff music classroom will be their only source or opportunity to ever be in a musical performing "group." Even the day to day lessons in our classroom always contain a final performance. These public school students come to music excited and ready to learn a new skill. Many of my lessons integrate children's literature with music. (We have actually had runs on certain books in our library because of our activities in the music room!)

About my class
