Play enhances a child's academic learning. I would love to create a center that allows my students to use their imaginations. The center will also create social situations for students to solve through on their own and all they have to do is PLAY. I feel we require so much from our students on an academic level that we forget they need time to play. With the amount of technology they are exposed to, it is important for them to be able to have a space for creative thinking. Not only will students get to play but with having a Dramatic Play Center I can include reading, math and technology in all of their activities.
