Right now, my students sit and work at their desks and chairs all day long. By lunch and recess, my students are ready to move! 6 and 7 year-olds learn best in a safe learning environment, where their voice is heard and respected, and where they can take ownership of their learning through the power of student choice. With flexible seating options, students will take ownership of their learning by choosing a seat that works for them. Some students will be able to choose seats that provide movement, such as rocking or swaying. Others will choose seats that are low to the floor. With flexible seating, students can choose a seat that works best for them.
