By utilizing the scooters, the students will be able to scoot around and do a gallery walk at a different perspective than their own two feet. The students will also be able to create various faces with various skin tones in order to show diversity. The student will put the authors purpose, characteristics & more from the book 'Wonder' on the faces that we will be gifted. Lastly, the chart paper will be used in group work to brainstorm & show examples of the expectation. All of these hands on pieces, truly make a difference in their learning.
