The materials I am requesting will allow my students options when taking sensory breaks to meet their needs while learning. My students seek out extra tactile sensory input from their surroundings. They enjoy and often require breaks with items or movements that stimulate their senses. Students particularly enjoy hands-on materials where they can explore and feel a variety of objects with different textures. Doing this allows them to calm down, refocus, relax, and prepare to get back to successful learning. The materials I am requesting would provide items that I can disinfect regularly to keep my classroom clean and healthy.
