These seat sacks will be used to help students easily store and find their classroom library books, which they use for independent and shared reading. It will also let books in my library last longer so students can read them for years to come. Having a spot for their books will help them keep their desks more organized as well because they will have less items to navigate through when finding their materials. I used to have handmade seat sacks that were generously gifted. My students loved them; unfortunately, they were not built to withstand the wear and tear of a first grade classroom.
