Many children in the lower grades missed much of their most formative years in learning letters/sounds, and basic early reading skills because of COVID. These materials will help us fill some of those early literacy holes we are seeing in these kids by allowing them to read text that is targeted to the individual literacy skills they are learning. These kinds of books and activities help students build from early literacy skills to more advanced skills. Being able to read well opens the world to students in all other subjects and grade levels.

About my class
