This project will create a total of 12 STEM Bins appropriate for first graders. Each Sterilite Liter Ultra Latch Box will house a STEM Bin, full of various manipulatives, including the following: Bin #1: Lincoln Logs Bin #2: Marble Run Bin #3: Brickyard Building Blocks Bin #4: LEGOs Bin #5: Wood Round Beads and Pipe Cleaners Bin #6: Magnetic Tiles Building Blocks Bin #7: Bristle Shape 3D Building Blocks Bin #8: Wooden Planks and Pattern Blocks Bin #9: Dot Markers Bin #10: Straw Constructor Toys Bin #11: Interlocking Plastic Disc Set Bin #12: Play-Doh and Tool Set STEM Bins encourage students to create, invent, and solve problems using real-world challenges. STEM-based activities in the classroom foster a positive culture that allows students to problem-solve, collaborate, create, test ideas, and build with their hands. These STEM Bins will inspire my students to think, innovate, prototype, and research in partnerships. As a new teacher, it is important to me I provide my students with the learning materials to succeed, but it can also be very expensive to supply. I greatly appreciate your support and consideration to supply my sweet first graders with STEM Bins that they will use on a daily basis!
