This will be our school's first social-emotional/therapeutic space for students and these materials will help our students learn how to properly verbalize and utilize coping tools as well as aid in minimizing negative behaviors in the classroom. As our students learn to use sensory tools to channel and identify emotions, they will be able to discuss what they are feeling in their bodies in order to advocate for themselves as needed. As a school, we are aiming to shift the narrative and support students as much as possible to grow in their positive mindset.

About my class
