This book brings a perspective of children in the Sudan during a crisis into the classroom from a child's viewpoint. It is rich with vocabulary. It is the hope that these children possess that will be the central focus of our learning. We will dwell upon how to overcome great challenges in our own lives by the inspiration of this story that is based upon true and gutwrenching events of the Sudan. We will also learn about the joy of rebuilding by South Sudanese nationals. We will use tested forms of questioning and vocabulary study to aim for success. Thank you for considering our project.
