As a first year teacher, it is a very difficult thing to walk into a classroom and feel like I don't have the things that I need, to give my students the classroom that they deserve. I am asking for donors to support me and help provide my students with some of the items that will make their learning experience the best that it can be. I want my class to feel like a safe and inviting place for everybody who walks into it. We are a small kindergarten class with big dreams. I want my students to have an amazing school year! We are in need of some of the most basic necessities - from basic supplies like books, to classroom decor to make our room feel warm and inviting. I am hoping for grade-appropriate books to support literacy development a classroom rug to build community, and decor to make our room a happy place to be. My goal is to make a safe, engaging, and student-centered classroom. I appreciate anyone who is willing to help!
