My students often struggle with social skills and relating to their peers. The skills many people learn through observation of adults and peers can be more difficult for some kids to learn, therefore they need explicit instruction. Games are the best way to make kids feel comfortable and engaged while learning a new skill. Having a room filled with fun, interactive games creates an environment perfect for conversations, questions and excitement! Kids can interact with peers during a structured game all while learning how to take turns, make requests, ask questions, make eye contact and follow directions.
