These audiobooks will continue to enhance the language-rich ESOL room that I strive to create. The listening center is extremely popular with students! Every book is treated with love and care, and students appreciate opportunities to listen to books. I have chosen many non-fiction topics which are of great interest to my students and speed their content language development. Students will be able to choose books, which will help them continue to develop a love of reading. With these new books, my students will be able to choose from a variety of books that will allow them to listen to books that interest them. An effective way to increase reading ability in a second language is to listen to good reading, and these books will continue to help my students grow in literacy. This project will only help enrich their experiences with the printed word.
