During Covid-19 my students really missed out on those fun and engaging hands on activities. I noticed when we did our first hands on drawing and charting of a map activity, the students loved it! The end result of the knowledge that the students retained were very encouraging as well. The materials that I am requesting will help completely reshape the way my students learn and are engaged! The projector will allow me to assign different zoomed in areas of Oklahoma for students to learn more about as an example. The projector will easily allow me to engage all students in the room compared to my tv I broadcast on currently. All the other materials will be amazing for my students drawing recreation maps of Oklahoma, drawing major highways, trails, and all the numerous things that have happened through out Oklahoma History. My goal with all of these materials is to make this class as hands on and engaging, because it is what my students deserve.
