The book "Chop Wood Carry Water: How to Fall in Love with the Process of Becoming Great" that I am requesting will be used as a class copy for our girls basketball team to explore and learn from year after year. This book teaches valuable lessons that will benefit my student athletes in every aspect of their lives. Some of the lessons taught throughout the book include overcoming discouragement, focusing on the present, and developing true mental toughness. I believe that it is required reading for anyone who wants to learn to truly appreciate the journey and process of achieving excellence.
