The sensory items will help my students who need to fidget or move around stay engaged in the activities we are doing. When our students need time to themselves they will be able to use these items to calm and sooth them. Unfortunately we don't have many things they can do that with. I am so excited to see the creations they will build with the manipulatives. Two of our goals for all the students are social skills and taking turns. This will give them more opportunities to learn social skills while they play.
