I am taking over for another teacher and starting in April. I would like to begin to set up a classroom for my students that is inviting and full of resources for them to be able to utilize. In order for students to succeed it is important for the classroom to reflect the environment that they need to succeed. Each of the materials chosen will either be used to create an inviting classroom environment that has the students excited to come back to school in person or be used to give the student supplies to use (such as the whiteboards). The students are not allowed to move about as much as they usually are during a normal school year, I hope to use the moveable dry erase board to be able to relay information to the students throughout the classroom. The exercise bands will be put on the bottom of their desks to allow the children to fidget and move.
